A three-part series featuring great friends and lots of beer.

We were entrusted by Coors Banquet to take their iconic brand and put our own spin on it. So, we created the Golden Hour Series: A three-part collection featuring stories of inspiring folks who work tirelessly to make adventure more accessible to all, along with limited-edition gear to support their efforts and inspire adventures of your own.

I’ve been the creative lead across this project from day one, including pitching the initial concept, overseeing all product design, and concepting the video and photo work. I also got to try my hand at directing, acting as the video director across all three parts of the series. This one has been a lot of work, but one of the more fulfilling projects I’ve ever gotten to work on.

Part 3: DJ Javier

For Part 3, we partnered with DJ Javier, an artist, designer, surfer, and proud Santa Barbara native. DJ personifies a unique side of SB—one that is not only a source of constant inspiration but one that creates an inclusive environment for people from all walks of life. His artwork—an emergence of surf, tattoo, bold colors, and Filipino influences—is showcased throughout his hometown, and loved by many.

I worked with DJ to bring this story to life and create a capsule collection of custom-designed hats, tees, and even two surfboards that were auctioned off to support a local Santa Barbara chairty.

Part 2: Eeland Stribling

We spent a few days out in the Colorado mountains with fly fisherman, educator, and stand-up comic, Eeland Stribling. Along the way we caught some trout, tossed back a few Banquets, and got to see him perform at one of his comedy shows. Check out our latest film, “The Fishing Stuck Around,” to see Eeland’s inspiring story and how he lives life to the fullest every single day.

Part 1: Gregg Boydston

Meet Gregg Boydston, a professional photographer, firefighter, and former wildfire Hotshot. He spent six years as a Hotshot—double the typical timeline—putting out forest fires and honing his photography skills along the way. Gregg works to improve the lives of others by fighting fires, keeping families in their homes, and protecting our wild spaces for future generations. A lifestyle that exemplifies the Golden Hour spirit through and through—cheers to you, Gregg.
